Butters can best be described as a sweet if oblivious young boy with a strong sense of moral rightness that can sometimes be muddied by his impressionable nature and often poor choice in friendships. A kind-hearted and fair-minded boy, Butters is sociable and polite with most people he meets, and tends to try and be as friendly as possible. Intelligent but immature, Butters can often be swept up in occurrences without adequately understanding what he's got himself into. Butters has shown perceptiveness, strong willpower, and an ability to organize and even lead, however. In short, though intelligent and kind and strong, Frequent abuse and neglect from his family and friends has made him malleable and gullible. Also a tad overdramatic when assuming his PROFESSOR CHAOS persona. In this alias, Butters acts the utter reverse of his personality, becoming cruel and diabolical, attempting to bring ruin to everything he finds displeasing, including the forces of "good." However, even in this ascended state he is still quite prone to misunderstanding and manipulatable. Likes: Friends, playing, juice, old TV shows, fantasy, people, salty food. Dislikes: Things most kids would dislike. Bedtimes, not getting alone, not being able to get along. Quirks: Has a bit of a peculiar way of speaking. Kind of stuffy and accented, though his parents do not sound at all like it. Has a tendency to use strange slang out of nowhere.

Butters was born to Stephen and Linda Stotch, the only child they have. For an inadequately explained reason, perhaps due to their own shortcomings or neuroses, Stephen and Linda are often derisive and distrusting of their son, assuming that any trouble he gets into is not the result of him being manipulated by the many nastier-minded members of his friends, but that he must've masterminded it, punishing him severely every time he's conned into making a stupid mistake. In addition, they make frequent comment about how much a "disappointment" their son is, going as far to apologize for his whole personality to people he befriends. His grandma was also physically and mentally abusive, though this eventually led Butters into being a stronger individual. Despite all this, Butters tends toward an optimistic outlook, despite his goofy disposition towards fake villainy. Butters leads an incredible abnormal life for a boy of his age, though not much more than any other in the bizarre town he lives in, often getting embroiled in absurd schemes of Eric Cartman's or Kyle Broflovski's. He had a Canadian girlfriend for a period who he cared deeply for, but she broke up with him during a period of divisiveness between the girls and boys. Butters's eye was also damaged by a shuriken star thrown by Kenny during a fake fight, leaving a scar in its place and nothing else, miraculously.

DETAILS ABOUT SKILLS, WEAPONS, ITEMS & ROOMS MAY GO HERE Skills: Imagination: For some intangible reason, Butters's imagination has taken physical form, allowing him to fight military operatives, zombies, and monstrous animals, as well as heal wounds just by being encouraging and physically transform into a 9-foot tall giant. PROFESSOR CHAOS: Butters's evil alter ego is that of Professor Chaos, a villain of unimaginable power and coolness. Chaos Cloak: Professor Chaos's cloak is a featherweight titanium alloy, shielding him from heat and conventional firearms. He can also use his chaotic magic to coat himself and an ally in a shield, absorbing a fair amount of damage from any sources before depleting or disintegrating. Chaos Hammer: Professor Chaos summons an enormous warhammer, slamming the ground with it and causing massive tremors. Additionally, weaves of steel webbing emerge from the ground that has been shattered, trapping and securing those foolish enough to be caught in the attack. Chaos Storm: Professor Chaos conducts the static in the air into his gloves, subsequently releasing the stored energy outward into broad arcs that severely electrocute all enemies in close proximity. Chaos Blast: Professor Chaos draws forth the endless well of chaotic energies swirling throughout his body, channeling them into a massive concentrated burst that explodes outward. Afterwards, he must recharge, and the transformation recedes. Appearance: Normal. Alter Ego.
