To begin with, Vira is an obsessive perfectionist, never pleased until she realizes what she considers to be the fullness of her goals. This, combined with her talented nature and years of isolation have skewed her morality beyond repair, making her disassociated and cold-hearted. Katalina was the only person able to get close to her. Unfortunately, rather than forming a healthy relationship with one of her peers, Vira's personality defects warped admiration into worship and obsession. Vira believed Katalina to be the only one capable of standing at her side as an equal. Desiring to monopolize her, Vira was willing to brainwash Katalina and stage a Coup rather than allow her to be sacrificed. This demonstrates her incredible devotion to her preoccupation with Katlina as well as the insane lengths she will go to in order to achieve her ends. Even after Katalina's reconciliation, her candle burns strong as ever, inversely matching the frosted indifference she holds towards anyone else. Likes: Katalina. Dislikes: People who don't listen. Quirks: Vira often talks to herself under her breath, and tends to mutter when she believes she's not being listened to. She has a much sunnier disposition when Katalina is present, but perceptive observers will note her hand never leaves her blade. She also suffers from constant night terrors, especially that of a specific nightmare concerning murdering her beloved. First Impressions: A striking, proud night with a haunted look in her eyes.

Vira had an eventful upbringing in Albion, her talents propelling her into the Imperial Academy, a prestigious and competitive environment she thrived in academically. Graduating top of her class due to her versatility in many different skills and pursuits, Vira should've had every advantage with her talent, beauty, skill and intelligence. However, all of these assets placed Vira on an unreachable pedestal in the eyes of her peers, idealizing her into a faraway, angelic figure. This isolationism and worship gave Vira a deeply warped view of human relationships and fostered an air of cynical elitism where she couldn't find an equal or peer, instead seeing a blurred room of admirers and subordinates. This detachment worsened as she became considered for the Lord Commander position, and was only alleviated by the timely arrival of Katalina Aryze, someone who could compete with her in every respect, and in particular was a superb duelist a step above her. Unfortunately, her lack of experience and deep neuroses began to color this friendly rivalry the deep red of obsession. Vira idolized Katalina, and became convinced no one besides her could ever fill the cavernous void in her life. Eventually, there arrived a competition to determine who would fill the Lord Commander's seat. Katalina wanted more than anything to travel and find the sky, something that would be impossible whilst tied to Albion the way the Lord Commander position was. Therefore, she intentionally lost to Vira, who took the victory and the position. However, there eventually came to light a plot to utilize the primal, Luminiera, who was tied to the town. They sought to use Katalina as its sacrifice, a scheme Vira near-singlehandedly foiled by staging a one-man coup of the castle and taking the slumbering primal for herself. After their clash, Katalina forgave her wayward comrade and welcomed her into the party, hoping her feelings had quelled somewhat. They had not.

She was able to soundly defeat many incredibly skilled foes without difficulty and generally excelled in every martial aspect. 圧倒 lit. Overpower: Vira calls forth immense dark energy into her weapon, using Lyst as a grim catalyst in order to project a black lance that travels into the foe before expanding and impaling them from within. 層上昇 lit. Layer Rise- Vira debilitates her opposition and simultaneously invigorates herself by sapping their stamina. 夕方の存在 lit. Evening Existence: Vira draws latent power from her allies, draining them in order to massively augment her next assault. 愛情宣誓 lit. Affection Oath: Vira crudely melds together light and dark energies into her hands, creating an unstable ball of contradictory matter which she then plunges into her foe, gutting them and returning the volatile aftermath to her as health. Strategist and Political Savvy: Vira ran what essentially equates to an entire country effectively, controlling several aspects of its infrastructure without much difficulty.
